Our Drivers

We are currently hiring independent contractors to deliver buses and other commercial vehicles nationwide.Your time is important, as well as ours! Due to large call volume, please read this page thoroughly. See if you qualify to drive for us before you make any phone calls to us.

Driver Requirements

• Must carry a CDL Class A or B. An Airbrake Endorsement is definitely a plus.
• Must have no more than six (6) active points on your driving record within a twelve- (12) month period.
• Cannot have any accidents show up on your driving record.
• Must have 2 years commercial driving experience.
• Must be registered on the FMCSA Clearinghouse website.
• Must have a current DOT physical.
• Must be clean.
• Must be professional. We want drivers who have a good eye for detail in inspecting units for damages, defects, and mechanical problems before and at delivery. Respectable conversation with dealers and customers is of utmost importance. The units are to be delivered free of trash and debris. All of these qualities insure the customer will keep using our service; therefore you will have work!

Our drivers are self-employed sub contract drivers. We will send you a 1099 at the end of the year. You are to keep track of all of your income, expenses, and trips you take. You are to treat it like your own business.

You are expected to follow USDOT requirements, which include physical, alcohol and drug testing, and hours of service regulations. Logs must be turned into Safeway every 14 days (by mail or in person.) Faxed logs are not acceptable.

Our pay is a base rate plus a fuel surcharge. We get a weekly report and make changes according to the average ups and downs.
